IUG 2026 Annual Conference

Have you seen weird strings of characters in your records like ?????? or Ã?©? I had them spread randomly around my database. I developed a process to find and replace these with correct characters in Sierra. There are still some functions in Sierra that you can only access with PuTTY, but PuTTY is a real pain to use because things are buried in menus, and there is no documentation on where to find things. It can't be documented because every server can be set up differently. I made a map of my own PuTTY setup so I can find things.
